Hi, and welcome! I'm Freja and this is my little corner on the internet.

Since I'm learning how to build all this, the pages might look bare bones for a while, so bear with me while I advance my learning.
I don't know exactly what I'll talk about in this site, so let's start talking about things I like in general. I love photography, especially bird photography, which I still think I suck at. I'm currently trying to find a decent way to post my pictures online, but I'll have to treat the images to stop AI from training on it.
I've been an avid gamer for as long as I remember, but other parts of my life took priority and I haven't gamed as much as I did when I was younger. I still follow news (kinda) and watch Twitch (not as much anymore, *sigh*), so I'm not super ootl on gaming.
Art is fuel for the soul. It shows you people's deepest feelings and thoughts but without being intrusive. Art shows us that the world is still a beautiful place with beautiful people.
Stationary. I love notebooks. Small ones, big ones, lined ones, dotted ones, leather bound, paper bound, coloured ones, kraft ones. Anything. I just love it. And pens. Oh boy. I have opinions about pens! Who does that?! After I learned about fountain pens and bought my first one, I was doomed. I have a small collection now, with different inks and they're so good. And you cannot deny, they look cool. Lately I've been watching a ton of videos about using notebooks in your daily life, not only because it's cool, but it helps with doomscrolling and improving your life in general. I do recommend that everyone should use pen and paper in their daily lives because it is amazing. We'll probably talk a lot more about this in the future.
My mother tongue is Portuguese and I started learning English when I was a small kid, so I've been fluent for god knows how long. I always wanted to learn more languages, tried Japanese when I was roughly 13 yo, but as a perfectionist, once I had a hard time memorizing something, I gave up. I tried picking it up multiple times troughout my life and always failed. I'm a language hoarder. I know bits and pieces of a ton of languages but am only fully fluent in two. We need to change that. Asap.
You know, improving ourselves should be something that everyone does everyday. I suck at it. I do pilates and that has really improved my overall health and strength but goddamn I still have so much to work on.
I like science. A lot. Who doesn't? Technology.... is a badly behaved mistress. It's cool and all but humanity has been using it for bad things for a long time and that spark in me to enjoy it has died. Or at least dimmed.
Music never leaves my life. Ever. There's always music playing in the background, on the PC or inside my head. A few years back (end of 2019 I think) I fell in love with K-Pop and that has been a constant in my life ever since. There's so much to listen, so much music being created every day that it's hard to keep up. Just like art, music is fuel for the soul.
And one last thing. Food. I love food. So much. I love trying new food and spices. Every time I try a new combination is as if a new world opened up in front of me.
